Yahoo Local provides "shopping" only in the sense that they provide a way to browse specific retail shopping categories and expose again their ratings and reviews.
In the personalized section of Yahoo Local, your activity is recorded (recently saved, viewed, and searched) as well as your reviews and 'collections'. In addition, there is apparently the ability to see comments on your reviews from others.
Yahoo Business Listing Landing Pages are more robust for some categories and listings than others. Business information has been summarized with details available in a pull-down in order to give more room to reviews.
Results seemingly accurate and relevant. Actions include rate and review (which never makes sense as part of the search results) along with add to a list.
The results are heavily layered with sponsored results, on the top, in the middle and at the bottom. Links go to own landing pages. Reviews heavily emphasized.
Google Maps version of a Detail Page is centered on the Fly-Out. Minimal relevant content and functionality is provided. Name, Contact, Photo (if available), Web Site, and Directions, Find Nearby, Send to Phone and now Edit.
