A Weekend Guide to a city was introduced by Yahoo Local. This featured some editorial commentary on things to do but this was generic and not specific to the actual city. Only feeds for movies ane events are relevant to the city. Highly rated restaurants are featured.
A search for Concerts in Bern shows a very sophisticated way of refining event results based on specific date or by more colloquial expressions, such as 'next week-end'.
The Local.CH home page is city-oriented and exposes a range of content in each city including Yellow Pages, Classifieds, Automotive and Leisure (primarily event information).
The Leisure section on Local.ch centers on exposing different events, movies, theaters and museums. A 'When' refinement is added that provides a very colloquial way of expressing time-based refinement.
Pages Jaunes offers well-presented movie information as an explicit separate section.
Pages Jaunes provides event information with the ability to obtain tickets (in conjunction with third parties).
Oops! I have screwed up because I didn't select a date for my plan! Couldn't be: "Oops! The developers ignored the pattern of accommodating delayed information!" When it's too hard to develop, blame the user I always say.
I could name the plan and select a time, date and picture. Just wasn't sure when I wanted to do this.
