Google Maps comes at local from the map perspective exclusively. They even abandoned Local Google branding for the Google Maps branding. They don't provide landing pages but instead concentrate providing all information on flyouts on the map.
Microsoft Live brought out "1 Click Directions" recently. It's an interesting approach. Instead of your needing to supply a starting direction, Microsoft is providing directions coming from North, South, East and West using major highways as the starting reference point.
Oodle is the third largest site behind Kijiji and Craigslist. It's an aggregator so it doesn't have listings of its own. They are powering Yell in the UK and are in Canada as well.
